The first lockdown posed a challenge for me , I had limited resources and an additional job of homeschooling.I started to look at my very immediate surroundings for inspiration and to illustrate this stagnant passage of time. I looked at small things, some objects from my  lifetime and living things in close proximity .I also hatched some butterflies , watched them grow from hairy caterpillars ,cocoon into chrysalis and transform into butterflies and release them – akin to the slow passage of time which seemed so evident during lockdown.
